What can be put in the composter? How much? What comes out of the composter? And in what quantity?
All your organic waste except bones, shells and pits because they decompose very very slowly as well as meat which carries diseases.
By organic waste, we therefore mean your vegetable and fruit peelings, your food leftovers, stale bread, expired food, your egg shells, but also your used tissues and paper towels, etc.
The composter is designed for a household of 1 to 4 people.
Our composter follows the same principle as the composting that is done in the bottom of the garden. You will therefore obtain mature compost, a good fertilizer for plants.
The amount of mature compost will depend on your amount of organic waste.
We therefore estimate it at 1 bucket of mature compost every 3 months for 4 people using the composter. It must be taken into account that from one family to another the production of organic waste varies and that we use the average in Europe.
Does the composter emit odors?
This composting process emits zero odors thanks to its technology and its odor filter (activated carbon). An intelligent ventilation system will filter odors and obtain a compost balanced in oxygen.
Do you need any knowledge of composting to use the composter?
The application will guide you in using the composter. You do not need any knowledge about composting. It will give you advice and instructions to manage the state of the compost, to have quality compost and zero odor.
What is included in the price?
The composter, the composting tracking app, the delivery of the composter and a set of carbon filters to be equipped for the whole year of composting. The starter soil is not included. You can use any type of soil purchased at your garden center.
